Among the wonders of Southern Ethiopia there certainly are the remarkable and unique ethnic groups of the Omo Valley, however it is important not to forget to mention also the extraordinary nature of the Rift Valley and Bale Mountains National Park, where travellers can admire an astonishing variety of ecosystems, wildlife and culture.

The duration of the tour can be adapted to the specific individual needs and of course more destinations can be added.

ITINERARY:

Day 1: Arrival in Addis Ababa and city tour.  
Day 2: Transfer to Langano Lake, on the way visit of Ziway Lake and Abijata Shala National Park
Day 3: Transfer to Goba, visits in Dinsho area.
Day 4: Bale Mountains N.P. – visit of Sanetti Plateau and Harenna Forest.
Day 5: Transfer to Hawassa, on the way visit of a coffee plantation and of a Sidamo village.
Day 6: Transfer to Arba Minch and visit of a Dorze Village
Day 7: Boat trip to Lake Chamo and transfer to Konso
Day 8: Transfer to Jinka and visit of an Ari village
Day 9: Visit of Mago National Park and some Mursi villages, then transfer to Turmi
Day 10: Visits to the Karo and Nyangatoum ethnic groups
Day 11: Visits to the Dessanech and Hamer ethnic groups
Day 12: Transfer to Konso via Erboré.
Day 13: Visit of Konso and transfer to Sodo.
Day 14: Transfer to Addis Ababa and, on the way, visit of Tiya Stelae.
