This interesting National Park off the usual tourist routes, but it offers wide possibilities of wildlife spotting, together with amazing and uncontaminated landscapes. Along this road is also possible to get in touch with attractive tribes that have had very little exposure to tourism, and therefore particularly authentic.
ACCOMODATION STANDARD: There are no available hotels in the area, it is possible to visit the park “on route” from Sodo or to camp in the park or in a village is advisable for informal travellers looking for a close up experience.
WEATHER: The rainy season in the south is in April and May, and during that period there might be problems crossing until Jinka. A 4×4 is strictly necessary year round. Temperatures range between 15º at night to a maximum of 30º in the daytime.
