ACCOMODATION STANDARD: There are some medium range lodges, but the availability of rooms may be scarce in some periods of the year. Camping in a village is very advisable for informal travellers looking for a close up experience.

WEATHER: The rainy season in the south is in April and May. During the rainy season a 4×4 is strictly necessary to reach some villages. Temperatures range between 18º at night to a maximum of 33º in the daytime.

HAMER BULL JUMPING CEREMONYThe bull jumping ceremony is a spectacular occasion to enjoy Hamer traditions. it's not possible to schedule it, but join it if you get a chance!
HAMER TRIBE OMO VALLEY-4The first part of the "bull jumping" ceremony is held by the women, who use to sing during hours asking to men of their family to be whipped. They are very proud of the scars on their back.
Markets are also an important social event in which people from different villages have the chance to meet.
Market are attended both by men and women, and it's an occasion for the members of the tribe to find any kind of items.
