This itinerary proposes a complete overview of the North, with visits of the main destinations along the so called “Historic Route”. ITINERARY:
Day 1: Arrival in Addis Ababa and city tour.
Day 2: Flight to Bahr Dar, visit of the monasteries on Lake Tana and of the Blue Nile Waterfalls.
Day 3: Transfer to Gondar and visit of the castles and the church of Haile Brehan Sellassie.
Day 4: Day trip to the Simien Mountains National Park.
Day 5: Flight to Lalibela and start of the visit.
Day 6: Visit of one church in the outskirts of Lalibela and completion of the visits in town.
Day 7: Flight to Aksum and visit of the archaeological site.
Day 8: Transfer to Tigray and visit of 2 rock-hewn churches.
Day 9: Visit of 1 church and transfer to Mekelle for the flight to Addis Ababa; in the evening international flight out.
